Original era manufacture. A very clean example of an early production Kabar with nearly all of its parkerized blade finish remaining. NoUSMC markings on the ricasso, only KA-BAR, Olean NY on the left side.A very clean, damage free stacked leather grip, with a thick pommel with a circular peened tang. The scabbard is also very clean, with a Marines name stenciled on to the front.See Cole's Volume III, page 94 bottom for a similar example.
