Original era manufacture. Classic WWII Marine utility knife, with a stacked leather grip. The blade exhibits honest age and wear, with an even steel patina and traces of the parkerized finish remaining. The blade is in proper configuration, with a good point, and no pitting. A single nick in the cutting edge can be seen about at the center of the blade. Stacked leather grip with a thick pommel and rectangular tang. No broken or missing segments. Leather sheath of riveted and sewn construction, displaying service use and wear, with the remnants of a cloth leg tie at the tip. Intact but worn pommel strap.
