Original era manufacture. A salty, service used musette bag base on the US Army M1936 pattern. Made with two colors of contrasting canvas, complete with its attached shoulder strap with two shoulder pads. This ingenious design allowed the bag to be worn at the side, or, employing the canvas loop at the bottom, worn as a small knapsack. The fabric is free of holes, but does show numerous small spots of staining overall, indicating hard service use back in the day.
