Original era photography. This is a very interesting album, with about 80 pieces of period photography, newspaper clippings and bawdy poems, just the thing you would expect from a young Marine serving in the Pacific during WWII. The cover itself appears to be made in the field, with a large hand painted rendition of the Marine's beloved EGA. Named to a W (William) C. Smith, his service number appears inside, so with some effort on Ancestry some research can be done on him.
