Original era manufacture. Dark blue wool top and band, piped in red wool, no moth issues. Sound black leather visor with a bound edge, being securely sewn to the body of the hat. Black leather adjustable chinstrap with two USMC side buttons.The lining is a pale yellow colored silk-like material, covered in a clear plastic, maker marked Joseph Paritz, Los Angeles. Sound and complete, wide russet leather sweatband, which for the most part is soundly stitched to the cap band. The hat is not crushed or flattened, needs a correct EGA to complete.
