Original era manufacture. US WWII USMC woman's identified uniform set. Included in this set is her jacket, skirt,and Bell Crown Hat and sleeve insignia.The hat is a size 22 The jacket: 32 bust, 24 inches longThe skirt: 27 inch waist and 30 inches long.This set belonged to same lady who passed away at age 87. She served in the U.S. Marine Corp Women's Corps from 1943 - 1945. After attending boot camp she was assigned to the Marine AirStation at Cherry Point, NC where she served as a coordinator in Aviation Supply. She captained the Women's Reserve Basketball Team through two undefeated seasons. She also served in the Quartermaster Corps at Atlantic Field, NC and at the Air Base at El Toro, California.40 years later she was chosen at the Chief of Staff for the Patriots Day Parade and she still fit into her WWII uniform. The set is in very good condition with no tears, holes or staining. All buttons are present and USMC collar insignia, it needs an EGA emblem for the Bell Crown hat.
