Original era manufacture. US WWII USMC woman's identified uniform set. Included in this set is her shirt, tie, jacket, skirt, Bell Crown Hat with metal insignia, sleeve insignia, Ruptured Duck insignia, ribbon bar, scarf and raincoat.The hat is a size 22 1/2The shirt is sized 36The jacket: 34 bust, 23 inches longThe skirt: 28 inch waist and 27 1/2 inches long.This set belonged to same lady who passed away at age 87. She served in the U.S. Marine Corp Women's Corps from 1943 - 1945. After attending boot camp she was assigned to the Marine AirStation at Cherry Point, NC where she served as a coordinator in Aviation Supply. She captained the Women's Reserve Basketball Team through two undefeated seasons. She also served in the Quartermaster Corps at Atlantic Field, NC and at the Air Base at El Toro, California.40 years later she was chosen at the Chief of Staff for the Patriots Day Parade and she still fit into her WWII uniform. She added a raincoat at that time which we are including with her uniform along with her red scarf.The set is in very good condition with no tears, holes or staining. All buttons are present.A really nice piece of history.
