Original era manufacture. Cotton embroidery SSI which does not glow under a UV light. Several available all near new condition. The 4th Marine Division was activated on August 6, 1943 at Camp Pendleton,Oceanside Ca.During the Pacific Campaigns the 4th MarDiv participated in four amphibious landings, Kwajalein, Saipan, Tinian and Iwo Jima. During the course of these battles the 4th MarDiv suffered over 17,000 casualties.
