Original period manufacture. Kabar style utility knife as issued by the US Navy during WWII. Clear markings on the guard. Mix of steel patina and blue finish on the blade.Sound stacked leather grip with no missing, or chipped segments, thick pommel cap with a circular tang.Sound gray plastic scabbard with a matching color canvas belt loop and pommel strap. Overall this knife exhibits normal age and wear with evidence of cleaning on the pommel, guard and scabbard throat.
