Original period manufacture. US Navy Mk1 utility knife made by Colonial. Black molded hard rubber one piece grip, with a large pommel. Standard pattern Mk1 blade which is marked U.S.N. Riveted and sewn brown leather sheath which is also U.S.N. marked. Overall the knife exhibits wear and use, there is a chip in the top of the pommel, and the blade surface exhibits staining and sharpening from service use, the point is slightly rounded. The sheath also exhibits similar wear, however none of the rivets are missing and the stitching is sound. The pommel strap is intact and functioning.
