Original period manufacture. A sound example of a WWII USN Mk2 Utility Knife by Camillus. The blade is sharp, with a polished steel finish, which exhibits scattered staining and light pitting. Service sharpened cutting edge. The steel guard and pommel matches in condition to the blade, with the Makers name CAMILLUS N.Y. on one side of the ricasso, and U.S.N. on the other.Very sound brown color stacked leather grip with no issues beyond light handling and wear. Standard gray plastic sheath with matching color canvas belt loop and pommel strap. The cloth portion displays staining and age, the snap closure button does  work. Original owners name stenciled on the reverse of the belt loop.
