Original era manufacture. Bright finished 5 inch blade marked Robeson Shuredge #20 on the obverse ricasso and U.S.N. on the reverse. Steel is bright and clean and has not been sharpened. Simple steel oval guard, nice stacked leather grip with colored spacers below the guard and pommel. Wooden pommel in good order withsome minor dents from use. Very sound leather sheath marked U.S.N. at its throat.
