Original era manufacture. Mix of steel patina and blue finish to the almost 5 inch blade, marked Robeson Shuredge #20 on the obverse ricasso and U.S.N. on the reverse. Steel is clean displaying normal age and wear.Simple steel oval guard, nice stacked leather grip with an aluminum pommel. Sewn and riveted leather sheath which is U.S. stamped at the throat.
