Original period manufacture. Pre 1944 production with a blue finished blade which is marked on one side of the ricasso U.S.N. and on the other CAMILLUS N.Y.. Stacked leather grip in very sound condition, no chips or missing segments, circular blade tang. Sound russet leather sheath which is marked U.S.N. at its throat. The blade retains a good portion of its original blue finish but does show some old cleaned corrosion staining about midway down on each side. Lightly sharpened for service use. Overall the knife shows typical age and wear from use.
