Original period manufacture. Guard marked USN Mk2 utility knife made by KaBar. Most of the original finish remains on the blade, light service sharpening to the cutting edge with some surface speckling on both sides of the tip and edge. Sound stacked leather grips with a gouge or two from service use, no cracked or missing segments. Guard is bent upwards towards the pommel a bit, thick pommel with a rectangular blade tang. Standard type gray plastic scabbard and matching color canvas belt loop with pommel strap.
