Original period manufacture. Standard pattern knife, with a overly cleaned guard and blade. At first glance I thought the blade had been chromed, but I will go with the cleaning angle first.Guard marked USN Mk2, Ka-Bar, it also has been cleaned. The blade is sound, the point is sharp, and the edge has not been abusively sharpened.Nice stacked leather grip with all of its segments intact, pinned pommel and a rectangular blade tang.Standard gray plastic scabbard with a gray canvas belt loop and pommel strap.
