Original period manufacture. A very sound condition knife with a well used gray plastic sheath. Guard marked USN MK2 R.C.C. with a blue finished blade with most of its original finish intact. Lightly sharpened for service use, with a strong point. Stacked leather grip shows service use with scattered denting  and a few minor nicks in its surface. Thick steel pommel disc with a rectangular blade tang. Standard gray plastic sheath with a canvas belt loop and pommel strap. The canvas is in poor conditon showing some tearing on one side. We looked through our box of spare scabbards but didn't have an extra to replace it with. This is the scabbard that came with the knife at the time of our purchase. Unusual maker.
