Original era manufacture. Standard pattern knife with a stacked leather grip and a pinned pommel disc. The blade shows sharpening as shown, with no corrosion issues. The stacked leather grip is sound with no cracks or missing pieces. Basically sound brown leather sheath of riveted and sewn construction, missing the tip of the female side of the closure strap.    Purchased from the family of Mr. G.A.Boyd, who served with the 11th ABN during WWII.
