Original era manufacture. Single tag issued to Hugh Donald Smith, Tetanus inoculation in 1942. Service number 328-23-42. Tag is mounted on a bracelet chain for wear. Ancestry shows him serving aboard the Fletcher Class Destroyer, USS Sigourney (DD-643), from 21 August 1943 to 1 November 1945. The Sigourney earned 9 Battle Stars during WWII, all in the Pacific Theater. She and her crew had an Interesting service history
