Original era manufacture. A well documented grouping regarding the service of a sailor who served aboard the battleship USS Alabama during WWII. During his service, he was assigned to Torpedo Squadron Five prior to December 7th 1941, and then Scout Observation Service Unit Three assigned to the USS Alabama.Included are his named, 1940 dated Navy Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theater Medal, American Campaign Medal and WWII Victory Medal.Documents include several Honorable Discharge Certificates, dated 1940, 1945 and 1954, most with additional information on the reverse. Other assorted personnel records.All of the above are contained in a nice quality US Navy Honorable Discharge portfolio with zippered closure.
