Original period manufacture. A clean example featuring a polished steel 7 inch blade with the Kutmaster name on the ricasso. Simple steel guard and pommel cap, intricately woven cord wrapping on the grip, with an elaborate knot below the pommel. Riveted and stitched construction brown leather sheath with pommel strap. Similar intricate woven cord decoration on the sheath body. Perhaps used by a sailor or a soldier in the engineers. Normal age and wear.
