Original era manufacture. Scarce original example of the once ubiquitous US Army hand-held radio of WWII, with original examples now being quite difficult to find. Data plate shows Signal Corps issue with a 1944 date, casing retains its original OD crinkle finish. The antenna cover is present, and the antenna extends easily. Original light OD canvas shoulder strap. At the time of our purchase, I did not notice the electric tape repair around the black plastic receiver and mouth piece covers. This was a classic oh sxxt! moment, but the job was done ok and the tape is hard to notice, very clean otherwise.
