Original era manufacture. This uniform consists of a Jacket, skirt, Garrison Cap and scarf all belonging to the same WAVE. This WAVE was a Radioman Second Class, and her name is inside the jacket and the skirt. Cloth collar anchorinsignia and ruptured duck with a sleeve rate on the left arm.Very nice condition, ready for wear or display, inaA size 5 in today's sizing.Skirt has a 28 inch waist and 25 inches long. Jacket has a 34 inch bust, 20.5 sleeve length and 24 inch jacket length. The jacket is missing the top two buttons.Radioman duties were to send and receive radio messages on all frequencies used by the Navy, to decipher and encipher Navy code messages, and adjust and repair radio direction finders and sound equipment. (see page 137 of Dressed for Duty)
