Original era manufacture. US WWII WAVES blue Nurse jacket. Collar and sleeve insignia are present. Label named and dated 3/31/43 made by Visek Brothers Tailors. Outside looks great and in great condition. The inside has has repairs at the armholes where the lining has come loose. All four gold buttons are present. Two inside pockets (one with label inside and outside) two false pockets in the front.30 inch bust23 1/2 inches long23 inch sleeve lengthThe WAVE was Inez Perry. She was born 1918 and graduated Baptist Memorial Hospital Nursing School. in 1941 she joined the U.S. Navy as an Ensign. In 1943 she married Don, then a Lieutenant in the Air Force. He was transferred to England for 4 years and she joined the Kaiser Permanente Hospital of Oakland, CA as a surgical nurse.
