Original era manufacture. US WWII WAVES Nurse's winter white uniform consisting of a jacket and skirt. The material is a heavy canvas cotton and very durable. The collar insignia is a pair and just pinned on one side to keep it together. 4 gold buttons secured by smaller white buttons inside. Blue stripes at the cuffs. Visek Brothers Tailors manufacture.Her name is on a label inside the jacket and skirt. Nice conditionThe WAVE was Inez Perry. She was born 1918 and graduated Baptist Memorial Hospital Nursing School. in 1941 she joined the U.S. Navy as an Ensign. In 1943 she married Don, then a Lieutenant in the Air Force. He was transferred to England for 4 years and she joined the Kaiser Permanente Hospital of Oakland, CA as a surgical nurse.
