Original era manufacture. US WWII WAVES blue overcoat. Two buttons are missing. One under the collar on the left side and the top button. There is a button under the right collar that could be used in place of the top button to secure it shut. The inside buttons are also present. Very good condition with no rips, holes or staining.39 inches long28 inch sleeve length38 inch bustThe WAVE was Inez Perry. She was born 1918 and graduated Baptist Memorial Hospital Nursing School. in 1941 she joined the U.S. Navy as an Ensign. In 1943 she married Don, then a Lieutenant in the Air Force. He was transferred to England for 4 years and she joined the Kaiser Permanente Hospital of Oakland, CA as a surgical nurse.
