This is a dress, jacket and hat all belonging to the same WAVE. Her name is Mary Lou Everson. She enlisted in the WAVES in August 1943 and was promoted to Second Class Petty Officer.Jacket measures 16 inches armpit to armpit and across the shoulders for a size 32 bust. 22 inch long sleeves & 23 1/2 long jacket.Dress measures 19 inches armpit to armpit. 14 inches at the waist for a size 28 and 17 1/2 hip for a size 35 hip. 37 inches long. These measurements are from the front.We purchased this uniform with a pair of size 12 shoes. They were not her shoes but we will include them with the uniform.
