Original era publications.  US WWII My Stretch in the Service scrapbook.The beginning is a diary of the time of enlistment, January 10, 1944 through October 27, 1945 for Honorable Discharge.This W.A.V.E. was Alice Richmond "Richie", "Curly", "Rabbit" "Bunny" and "Red". Signatures of other Military personnel she spent time with such as the Commissary Crew, bunkmates patients and hospital workers.  Coctail napkins, menu's, newspaper articles regarding Navy Hospital's "First" to have a baby in this hospital, greeting cards and original artwork. Even a lock of hair and some photography.One insert: My Darling Wife: Though millions of miles are between us, and the days are long and hard, our love will keep us together with the help and peace of God.Good Luck darling and only best of wishes, your husband, Father Richard.The book has some empty pages in the middle but a lot of comments throughout. A nice piece of history from a Nurse during WWII.
