US WWII WAVES Uniform, Named, 1st Class Petty Officer

This is a  uniform set that belonged to Wanita Damian. Original period manufacture. Wanita Damian was born July 13, 1911 and enlisted in the WAVES  November 2, 1944 and served in our Navy until August 30, 1968.The Jacket is a 30 inch bust and 22 inches longThe skirt has a waist of 28 inches and is 26 inches longThere are 4 ribbon bars on the top front pocket for American Campaign, National Defense, Victory and 2 Good Conduct medals that were awarded her.  The shoulder sleeve insignia is for a 1st Class Petty Officer and she has stripes on her sleeves for time in service.  All buttons are present and her WAVES collar insignia is in place.A very sharp looking uniform.she lived until 2002. She was 90 years old.
