Original period manufacture. An interesting lot, concerning the 408th, Military Police Escort Guard Company, stationed at POW Camp, Weingarten Missouri during WWII.The lot includes a 1943 Christmas Menu from Camp Weingarten, which of course details the food and beverages served that day, but also provides a nine page history of the formation of the Escort Guard Companys and the establishing of Camp Weingarten.In addition, there are 21 original black and white photographs of the Military Police troops stationed at the camp. Mostly showing the men in everyday activities, posing with their buddies and so on. Normal handling and wear.
