Original period manufacture.  Blue finished blade measuring just under 8 inches in length. Simple steel guard with a stacked leather grip and double tang in the oval shaped pommel disc. Proper double stitched leather sheath which is reinforced with steel rivets. Blade shows a mix of blue and steel patina, evidence of an old sharpening, normal age and wear to the grip. Dark leather sheath with a cut at the throat at the left side, pommel strap works properly.
