Original era manufacture. Pocket size log book, published by Pacific Airmotive, with entries regarding the training of a young woman pilot in 1943. The entries show flights local flights from  Las Vegas during the months of June-August, a hot time to be learning how to fly.A google search provides interesting details regarding her (copy included) which tells the tale of a life well lived, marrying her husband, also a pilot and flight instructor, in 1944, and enjoying a life together of 67 years.   The obituary specifically states her training as a WASP pilot.
