Original era manufacture. US WWII Woman's WAVES uniform set.This is really great set. The WAVES name is attached to most every article. Her purse still retains the strap. Inside her purse is a photo of her in uniform, seated next to an airplane, the reverse of the photo is dated 1944. Also included is her Navy Training Course Certificate for Petty Officer 2nd Class, Aviation Machinist Mate 2C.Her overseas hat has the metal insignia on the side and two WAVES tags inside. Size 22The skirt has her name stitched inside with the WAVES label. 28 inch waist, 23 inches long. Button and zipper are intact.The jacket has the WAVES label on the inside side and another label with her name on it on inside the pocket. Cloth collar insignia is in place. All buttons are present.36 inch bust. 22 inch sleeve length. 23 inches long. The left sleeve has her rank insignia.The white shirt has all of the buttons and a button on tie. The shirt has her initials written in it. There is a hole at the bottom but that part would be tucked in and never seen. All buttons are present. Her tie has her name stitched inside.A really sharp group.
