US WWII womens 4 buckle arctic overshoes. These would fit over the womens field shoes and come halfway up the leg for protection against snow and cold. They are made of woven, water-repellent, cashmerette upper and have rubber soles. The size of the overshoe corresponds with the size of the shoes. Size 6 in this case.
