This US WWII British made uniform consists of overseas hat, jacket and trousers. This is the RAF blue Battle Jacket and trousers that were authorized for service overseas. There are Red Cross buttons on each shoulder and three bullion stripes on the lower sleeve. A few moth nips. This is a WWII size 12. The jacket is small but fits the mannequin very well. The pants are larger. The woman that wore this was Catherine Chappell Hislop. She was a former reporter for Life Magazine who worked for the Red Cross overseas during WWII. She also served Radcliffe College in numerous capacities. We were able to purchase all of her uniforms which consist of various Red Cross uniforms and one Military School uniform. These will all be posted to our site as we take pictures of each one.
