Original period manufacture. This wonderful example of a hand decorated mailing envelope, was purchased by us, many decades ago, from the hands of the lady to whom the letter was addressed. She said with a smile, "he was very persistant", but unfortunately for Private Carpenter, she married someone else. One of a kind.
