Original era manufacture. Introduced late in WWII, and patterned from the USMC M1941 pack system, being a great improvement over the WWI era, M1910-1928 pack system.Dark OD canvas material, with all straps and fittings intact. Three pieces, M1944 combat suspenders, upper pack which is 1945 dated, and the lower, satchel-like, removable section, which is 1950 dated.Normal age and wear from service use.
