Original era manufacture. A clean example with a parkerized finish blade and a nice stacked leather grip with no missing or crached sections. First pattern M8A1 scabbard with the dark OD canvas belt loop and pommel strap but no steel cap on the tip. The closure snap on the grip strap needs repair, replacing. The blade shows most of its finish remaining with steel patina elsewhere, slightly rounded point. Case & USM4 proofed on top of the guard, Ordnance Bomb proof on the underside.
