Original period manufacture. Tan cloth covered top, with a green cloth underside. The chinstrap is tan cloth, attached to the front is an enlisted pattern Eagle, Globe and Anchor darkened brass emblem.Simple adjustable sweatband inside, with a makers name and date of either 1943 or 1948, really can't say for sure. Clean, few minor scuffs to the fabric.
