Original period manufacture. Uncut, 16 inch bladed bayonet made by Rock Island Armory and dated 1906. Finished with a WWII era dark parkerized surface, which shows evidence of service sharpening to the edges. Mix of blue and patina finish to the guard and pommel. Original dark brown plastic grips with light service marring and bumping. Original GI OD plastic scabbard with a dark corrosion finish on the scabbard throat making it impossible to tell if it is Ordnance Bomb or USN Mk1 marked.
