Original era manufacture. US mfg bayonet by Remington under contract for Britain. Complete with period, second pattern US scabbard. The blade itself shows the pattern date of 1913 and a manufacture date of 2-17 with US proofs visible. The blade is very clean with its original dark blue finish, minor scattered age staining, no corrosion. Sound dark wood grips, stamped DP (Drill Purpose),the pommel lock button works properly. Very solid second pattern US scabbard however the M1910 belthook is missing its attaching loops.
