Original era manufacture. Double sided, multi-piece construction with the central yellow star made of a silk-like material. Normal age and wear, with fading and staining,  sleeved at one end for hanging. Just a quick amendment to our description is in order. The three Vietnamese flags we placed on our site this morning, formed part of the Japanese collection we purchased several weeks ago. The collector, a gentleman whom we have been acquainted with for many, many years, was a veteran of the Vietnam war, serving in the capacity as a US Navy courier around 1964-65. Today, while speaking with him on the phone regarding additional purchases of his collection, he mentioned that he had obtained these three flags while on duty in Vietnam.
