Original period manufacture. Early, woman's American Red Cross Uniform Lot.One blue and white striped dress with her name inside, Helen Dorothy Beckstrand. Two pockets, one on the top left and the other larger pocket on the skirt bottom right. 30 inch bust, 46 inches long with a 22 inch waist. There are two snaps but no buttons. Looks like they were removed to wash and starch the dress. The second uniform is a skirt with a 26 inch waist, 33 inches long. One large pocket on the right. One snap, no buttons. The white shirt with it is a Red Cross shirt but did no belong to her. We will add it to complete the outfit. The shoes are really interesting. They are a size 8 and still have the Red Cross label inside. The shoes are very hard to find and we have never seen a pair with the label still inside.
