Original era manufacture. WWI French 75 fluted trench art vase. Statue of Liberty on one side, US shield and crossed French & British flags on the other. There is a hole drilled into the bottom edge of the casing, and another smaller hole about 8 inches above. Perhaps this was intended to be a lamp at one point. Brass patina finish, stands 13.5 inches in height.
