Original era manufacture. German WWI .77 artillery shell casing dated 1917, nicely rendered into a candle holder (I think) with a faintly engraved name at the base, SGT. RADWELL, SOUVENIR BRLE SOMME. Hand cut eagle at the top which is supported by two sprays of oak leaves. Stands 7 inches in height. Once part of the Jane A. Kimball Trench Art collection.
